Lin Changyang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Jinggangshan University. He holds a doctorate in English Literature from Tongji University (2017) and specializes in cross-cultural translation theory and practice. His monograph An Exploration of English-Chinese Text Translation: Functional, Grammatical, and Cultural Factors (2022) received the Jiangxi Translation Association’s Third Prize for its systematic analysis of adaptive translation methodologies. With extensive experience in translating scientific and scholarly texts—including The Basics of Ecology —he adeptly navigates complex concepts for target audiences. Dr. Lin has contributed to national projects like the Chinese Academic Translation initiative and published over 20 academic papers on literature and translation studies. As an educator, he designs courses on translation technology and cultural communication, bridging theory with industry needs. His upcoming translation, Remaking China’s Traditional Education, reflects his commitment to advancing global understanding of Chinese educational evolution.
