Academic Chronology of Wu Yiqi.....................................................................................................311
Yan Fangming, Ph.D., is a full professor and leading scholar in Translation Studies at Jinan University, where he holds dual leadership positions as Director of the Weng Xianliang Center for Translation Studies and Program Director of the MTI (Master of Translation and Interpreting) degree program. He serves as Executive Council Member of the Guangdong Translators Association and Council Member of Applied Translation Studies Committee. His international academic experience includes serving as a visiting scholar at the University of Manchester’s Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies. Professor Yan’s research specializes in cross-cultural communication through translation, with particular expertise in Chinese Bible translation, poetry translation, and the translation of cultural classics. Professor Yan has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals including Perspectives: Studies in Translatology, Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, and Chinese Translators Journal. He has also published one academic monograph on translation studies and two translated works. His scholarly contributions span translation theory, applied translation studies, and critical approaches to translation. As an active participant in global academic communities, he serves as a reviewer for several
CSSCI/SSCI-indexed journals, including Biblical Literature Studies and Digital Scholarship in the Humanities.
