Cao Xiaojiao, female, a native of Liaoyang, Liaoning Province, was born in 1984. She is an associate
professor in the School of Foreign Languages at Suzhou University of Technology. She holds a PhD from
Nanjing Normal University. In 2017, she was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council to participate in
a joint doctoral training program at North Carolina State University. Her research interests include cultural
semiotics, American literature, and literary translation.
