Dapeng Li is an associate professor and master’s supervisor of Translation in the School of Foreign Languages, Suzhou University of Technology. Some of his professional affiliations include expert member
of Translators Association of China, senior member of China Association for Foreign Language Education Research at China Association of Higher Education, and expert of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) Evaluation Expert Database. He earned his B.A in English in 2012, and MTI in English Interpreting in 2014. He has been teaching in universities in China since 2013. He was sponsored by Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education to teach and research at University of Kentucky, USA from 2016 to 2018. His research interests include translation, intercultural communication, and English education. He has completed over 10 provincial-level or above grants and has authored 1 book and over 30 research articles. He also holds an impressive list of honors and awards for his excellence in teaching and research.
